I watched the technical dress rehearsal of Upstart Production’s Forbidden Broadway tonight, and to say it was amazing would be an understatement. I started listening and collecting their recordings since 2007, and seeing it live is one phenomenal experience. I can only wish I can be that witty, putting on a show like that. It’s like a breath of fresh air among all the usual musicals I’ve been seeing lately. I love it. And I recommend everyone to watch it as well!

Red.

“Look, look! It’s the sun! It’s the sun and it’s red! Holy shit the sun’s red!” he exclaims, pointing to the big circular shape rising up from the clouds that night, much to everyone’s dismay. The driver next to him is so startled he almost swerved the car a teeny bit to the right. He is not amused. The boy continues to point and stare in awe at the big red thing in the sky. 

His face falls into a frown as he realizes it was the moon.
